Why was the Ancient dress of Indian men called dhoti and its significance

Firstly Dhoti was extremely agreeable and simple to wear for day by day usages.Secondly, Indian dhoti made of cotton attire was decently adjusted to the dry, hot summers of Indian subcontinent. It was likewise a basic piece of the ensembles of rulers and leaders of old India. Dhoti is depicted from the expression Dhauta. This statement is identified with the Sanskrit word pancha and dhuvati which signifies "five". This may be a reference to the way that a five yard-long piece of fabric is utilized, or might likewise be utilized to indicate  the five bunches utilized as a part of an intricate south Indian way of hanging the garment. The article of clothing is normally white or cream in shading, albeit vivid shades are utilized for particular religious events or now and then to make more clear ensembles.White dhoti is by and large worn by the husband to be in Bengali weddings. There are a few diverse methods for hanging the panchas. The two most famous ones in south India are the plain wrap and the Pancha katcham.

My Favourite Indian Traditional dress

I love to wear Indian dresses as they are elegant and comfortable. There are various types of Indian dresses but my favourite Indian Traditional dress is salwar kameez. It is a traditional dress of Punjab which is mostly worn by North Indian people. I always wear Punjabi suit-salwar kameez as it is comfortable outfit. Salwars are detached pajama-like trousers. The legs are wide at the top, and restricted at the lower leg. The kameez is a long shirt or tunic, regularly seen with a Western-style neckline; be that as it may, for female attire, the term is presently approximately connected to collarless or mandarin-captured kurtas. The kameez may be worn with pajamis too, either for style or comfort. Some kameez styles have side creases (known as the chaak), left open underneath the waist-line.
